Ok, so ive searched around alot. Main thing is....can I run something like this..

http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Intel-D945G...40:1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14#ebayphotohosting

But run this mb:

http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Intel-DG45F...39:1|66:2|65:12|240:1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

^up to 4gb ram,lga775!,pci x1.
Now could i just pretty much put something like that together, run a good heatsink on the fastest intel core 2 duo I can get, with best laptop slim cd and hd? Then throw the best gfx card into that pci slot, Ive seen a few with the full size pci slot....

What about power supplys? Would it be enough to power a dual core, 4gb, machine with a gfx card? Could I run crysis, ect.

Thanks

You're not going to be running any video card with a pcie x1

Yeah the X1550 is a total piece of shit for gaming. Considering that it's the same price as the significantly better 8800GT, 9800GT and 9600GT cards, it's a very very poor buy. In addition, the case wouldn't even fit a video card even if there was a PCI-E x16 slot. The 90W PSU is also a severe limitation for video cards as well even if you use low power C2Ds and laptop drives

If it's all you got to play with. Are integrated chipsets these days better than the X1550 in overall experience? I don't know much about integrated

Integrated graphics:
Video: Intel X4500HD Graphics Controller

Doubt the X1550 esp with the bandwidth loss will compare at all.

@mrmylanman: integrated is pretty srsbizniz now. Intel still lags behind its AMD and NV counterparts (they say it's drivers.. as in Intel drivers blow balls and don't get supported much). 780G, 790GX, 8200, 9300(is it is 9200?) are all advertised as 1080p compatible, though real world performance is a different issue but will run 720p fine. It won't run new games on high but will do fine for older esp if you o/c it (my gigabyte can o/c from 500 core to 900)
