Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hi, I am building a computer based on for Highend Gaming LAN. I want to know whats a good case to use for this build? And what motherboard should I use with the i5 2500k?
Scythe Big Shuriken would be my suggestion if you want a low-profile cooler. Might want to take a look at the Thermalright AXP-140 RT Low Profile, as well.
As far as a motherboard, just go with the cheapest 1155 miniITX board that you can find with enough reviews that make you feel comfortable enough to purchase. If you want to overclock, you want to find a P67 1155 board. However, if you're only using a low profile air cooler, I recommend going with a lower-watt quad such as the i5 2400S (65W), or save money by going with the i5 2400 and underclock it.
In my oppinion, since i've been using SG05 I'd recomment you this case, if you are not going to use WC and a 560i.
About the ITX mb, if you need WIFI, Zotac's h67IXT WIFI (i'm not so confident with zotac products), if not there are 2 Asus P8H67. Take a look at each of them at their respective pages and look mem speed, sata ports and else, it depends on what your gonna use
