Microcenter 2500k + Mobo choice

Looking to buy a mobo that would be good for overclocking and would like to spend ~$250-$300 total. I dont need sli/crossfire but would atleast like an upgrade path to ivy if performance increase proves substantial. Any suggestions to take advantage of the $50 off?

I've also got an Antec Earthwatts 500W from 2008 and wondering if that will still work when I also upgrade my video card mid january to a 2gb card for my 1920x1080 monitor.

MC still has that $50 off deal for the 2500K? I didn't see it in their ads.

Also whether or not you should reuse that PSU largely depends on which card you're planning on upgrading to. With that said, more than likely you will need to replace it.
 
Went a couple weeks ago and thought they had always ran that deal. May I get a recommendation for a motherboard ~$100-150 that will reasonably overclock. Ill just end up getting the proc there and mobo elsewhere.
 
Depends on what you need out of the MoBo other than overclocking. Typically, ASUS/MSI are good ways to go, with either the P67 or Z68 lines being most people's choices for sandy bridge.
 
for $160 you can get the asus gene-z. it is mATX, but it ocs like beast and has a host of features (like built in power switch and cmos reset button) as well as a sweet red and black color scheme that you only find on more expensive full size boards. i used the microcenter deal to get a 2500k + p8z68-m pro. regretting not plopping down the extra coin for the gene z, even though i wouldnt have been able to get the great bundle.
 
The Gigabyte mobos still have $50 off. None of the other manufacturers still have the deal going.

It's completely hidden, but when you add both items to your cart, the mobo will be $109.99 /$59.99 (minus $10 more in a MIR).

I got the UD3H-B3 version literally 2 days ago (post Christmas).
