doubt they will run out.. i have a fry's near me so ill check some ad's.. prices are usually about the same and have a much better electronic receipt system..

edit.. nvm looks like fry's sales this week are lame.. only i7 is the 985 for 999 dollars..

$179.99 will be tough to beat...if they can, great! One of the Chicago area stores it out right now. Of course, the 930 is $199.99...hmmm....



 
For the dif just grab a 930, one higer mulit I think

It doesn't look like Fry's will come to close in pricing on the 930. It was $288 on their site today.

in store and website pricings arent the same.. thats the only problem with Fry's.. while on their site something could be on sale for 50 dollars off but in store its regular price..
 
fry's nor any of the e-tailers out there have ever come close to MC pricing on the i7.

I live near an MC (kinda). I live in Ft Worth and the one I go to is in Richardson. I don't get to that neck of the woods often, but may go out that way this weekend depending on which car I buy and from whom. If I end up with a dealer in the far northeast portion of our metroplex, I will be driving by Richardson and that MC. I'll let you know, but if you could send me a PM on Thursday to remind me that would be great.
 
No takers? I have a MB and memory just begging for a new processor, and a nice Antec case that should be here today.
 
I may have been going this weekend when I go to buy a new car but it looks like the only two in contention will be somewhat local to me so I won't be heading to the other part of our metroplex.

My MC is out of the 920

The 930 is 199 though as mentioned

Problem is only two stores still have them. Richardson, TX where I would get them is OOS. I was going to go and get a couple tonight on the way home from the airport. Major detour on my part, but would have been worth it.

I was hoping to build an I7 rig at that price, I had some extra $ left over from vacation
which never happens.
 
I am serious considering an i7 1156 build.

MoBo's seem to be a few bucks cheaper and I can get 4x2GB DDR3 1600 for the difference (or less) vs 3x2GB DDR3 1600.

I can definitely get the 1366 or 1156 for $199 + Tax. It really is only $21.65 (20 + tax for me).

The next i7 rig will be dedicated SMP and won't be doing any GPU2 folding (unless I move one 9800GX2 from the i7 rig that has two).

so who's going to Cincinatti to buy the ~15 920s left in the whole system apparently?
