Why don't people choose the smaller MicroATX structure? it's so much cheeper and it doesn't get in the way and take up desk space. Computers are so fast now the regular ATX is just to big and costly.
You can get a 50 dollar NEXC DVD CD_DVD which is all you need in the front. Evrything else like sound is built in the MBoard. Plus I was checking out Tom,s hardware and he was talking about cooling problems with it. What does cooling really do except stabalize F/rates a little more. Also, you can always choose a standard micso instead of a mini for air space.
I'm sticking with the Micro.

mATX mobos are not for enthusiasts - they're usually missing not only the additional PCI slots but some other features as well...

Many here oc their rigs which rules out 99.5% of the matx mobo's on the market.

Otherwise if a person doesn't oc or mind missing a few onboard goodies, then matx is just fine imho.

Many mATX PSU's aren't up to the task either. They are only like 250W  . I'm still debating about a shuttle though. They do look like they at least OC a little bit.

I'll probably go for the tower with better cooling.

Enermax

^^

the features aren't half bad on that enermax, decent cooling and powersupply for an Matx setup. An ideal thing to throw on there: a pci slot blower in the bottom pci slot. Have the two center fans intake air and have the pci blower and psu exhaust. I'd filter the intake as it wouldn't take long for a tiny case to fill with dust. Actually, my proposed setup would be better if the case were lying down instead of upright, but you get the idea.

Have you checked out the antec aria or the aspire X-Qpack by any chance? The aspire uses a normal atx sized psu, though i would chuck the stock one in the garbage (its the new deer imho eek)
