Memory usage from 2 instances

Hi,

I have a 6300 on which I'm running two instances of F@H as services. Both seem to be running correctly (though I honestly wouldn't know how to check)

In the settings for each I've allocated up 500mb of ram to do with as they please. I only have 1gb at the moment so that may be a bit much to allocate though.

My worry is that one of the instances never uses more than 4mb of memory, while the other can be using anywhere between 100 and 500mb.

Does that seem normal? I figured that two separate instances with separate machine ids and in separate folders should both act identically.

Thanks

Every protein has different memory requirements. The fluctuation is not bad. Did you enable bigwu's?

Yeah, I've emailed bigwu's. Its not the fluctuations that bothers me, but the fact that one of the instances never uses more than a few mbs (currently using just over 2mb) while the other is always using much more.

Mine seem to average about 10-15MB per on dual core machines running 2 instances (this is an average) and I dont have BigWUs enabled (can't do it on production machines..people get snippy)
