Here is my system:
MOBO: Abit - KV87-Max3
CPU: Amd 64 3200+
Video: Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB
Ram: 1 x PNY 512MB DDR 2100/2300
1 x SourceTek 512MB 2100/2300
HDD: 1 x WD 20GB HDD
1 x WD 80GB SATA HDD
PSU: DC output: 400W MAX
Input - 100-127V~10A 50/60Hz
200-240V~6A 50/60Hz
Output - +5V/30A Max. +12V/25A Max.
-12V/0.8A Max. +3.3V /28A Max
-5/0.3A Max +5Vsb/2.0A Max

My computer will just randomly shut off, i am not sure if this is a ram problem or not, or also if this problem could be because of a mismatch or incompatability in my ram? any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I'm running completely 2 mismatched Kingston HyperX PC3700 modules and 2 Mosel brand PC2700 modules, no stability problems, so it could be other stuffs. Then again you should still run a memtest though. But in my case this mismatch isn't causing a problem yet.

I'm running some mismatched memory too.

512mb GEIL Ultra Platinum PC3500 SPD: CL2 2-3-3-6

512mb Infineon PC3200 SPD: CL3 3-5-5-8

Both in dual channel @220 FSB and CL2 2-4-4-7

Rock stable in memtest.
