My computer will just randomly shut off, i am not sure if this is a ram problem or not, or also if this problem could be because of a mismatch or incompatability in my ram? any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I'm running completely 2 mismatched Kingston HyperX PC3700 modules and 2 Mosel brand PC2700 modules, no stability problems, so it could be other stuffs. Then again you should still run a memtest though. But in my case this mismatch isn't causing a problem yet.

I'm running some mismatched memory too.

512mb GEIL Ultra Platinum PC3500 SPD: CL2 2-3-3-6

512mb Infineon PC3200 SPD: CL3 3-5-5-8

Both in dual channel @220 FSB and CL2 2-4-4-7

Rock stable in memtest.
