Hi,
in my desktop right now I'm using two sticks of memory:
1x 256 MB PC2100
1x 512 MB PC2700
I know that PC2700 is faster than PC2100, and that they are backwards compatible, running at the lowest of the two speeds if both are installed.
Here is my question:
Will switching the 256 MB PC2100 with a 256 MB PC2700 give the computer a performance boost? If so, will it be noticeable? Let's say that I already had the 256 MB 2700, would it be worth the effort (those 2 minutes
) to switch it, or should I just leave it as is, because I know my computer works fine right now?
Thanks, Broekage
