memory problem

hi,

i am not sure if this belongs here, but anyway

i used to run 1gb 677 memory with an overclock of fsb230, ram at 533. i have now brought new 2gb geil 800 ram but when i overlock to fsb230,ram at 677.

when i boot i get either missing hal.dll or Windows\System32\Config\System Corrupt or Missing. Without the overclock it boots fine.

what is wrong can u help

full part number or a linky for that ram would help.

so all I can do is guess, perhaps it requires higher that standard voltage to run ?
