So i have been having a few problems with glitching and general weird things with my system:
c2d 6700 @ 2.66
500 gb wd
780 i
4 gb (2x2) geil pc6400 5-4-4-12

So I have been running all sorts of tests and programs and these are my mem test results:

errors per slot:
0: 238
1: 217

all errors occured on test number 7, total test time was about two and a half hours, booted from a cd. I don't really know if thats a lot or a little, if its cause for concern or if i should contact either the egg or geil about replacing them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Errors occured on all volts i tried of 2.0-2.2 which is factory settings. Full test was run at 2.2.

Thanks,

Jordan

You could fiddle around w/the timings to try and see if it produces less errors, but that's a lot of 'em either way, I'd be concerned.

Are you running Memtest86? Or Memtest86+? Or some other variation? Memtest86+ gave me lots of errors, where Memtest86 gave none. Make sure it isn't the test you are running.

I ran memtest 86 v3.4. General problems with my computer hanging after closing some games. Video glitching out is what started the investigation into faulty hardware. Also general lagginess when not appropriate.
