Hey guys, you helped me build a computer about 10 months back and it worked out great. Still love my computer and it is working great... thanks! Now i am posting for my room mate as he wants to build something similar to what i got. This was my post from 10 months or go. I pretty much copied the post linked below, but made some changes to fit my room mate's need.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
This would be my main computer which i would use for gaming (probably be playing Runes of Magic, Diablo 3, starcraft 2, FPS games). Web browsing, mild photoshop work, etc... general use.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
budget between 600 and 800 after tax / ship
3) Where do you live?
Columbus OH. Prefer to order off the net.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Case (tower style, need room for 2 hard drives, one optical drive), PSU, mobo, cpu, video card, RAM, sound (on MOBO board fine), NIC card wired (on MOBO board fine), Hard Drive SATA 500gb - 1tb
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
19" CRT(will be replaced at a later date with a 21" LCD, but do not need that in this build now), IDE DVD Burner, USB keyboard and mouse, speakers.
6) Will you be overclocking?
not likely
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
Using a 19" CRT that uses VGA (have adapter) plan on upgrading to a 21" LCD soon but not in this build.
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
very soon. i would like to order by this weekend.
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc.
SATA RAID support, IDE device support (for dvd burner), On board sound, on board wired NIC card.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? 32bit or 64bit?
Plan on using windows 7 64 bit. Have a legit key and install dvd already.
