It looks like McAfee will be safe in Guatemala for now. Insert your own "at least that country provides better protection than McAfee ever did" jokes here.

U.S. software pioneer John McAfee, facing deportation from Guatemala to Belize to answer questions over the death of a neighbor, has bought himself some time with legal appeals, the Guatemalan government said on Sunday.

I have known some seriously addicted drug users and McAfee exhibits some of the same mannerisms in his video interviews. It doesn't look good for him if you ask me.
 
They are holding him until they work out what the stuff they found during the cavity search is.
