My mb temps are higher than ever, getting up to 50C after 10 minutes of orthos using PC PROBE II, however; I'm thinking this is because my 8800gts which runs hotter than crap is right there next to it and I"m not sure where the diode is that takes the MB temp.

Regardless, my system is stable and no problem running orthos or occt for stability.

Should I worry?

In some other posts where people have installed 8800's and reported the same problem, case temps when up significantly, Where provided a picture of their case, I have noticed that due to the lenght of the card in a smaller case it acts as an air dam. It prevents the cool air pulled in with the front intake from ever reaching up to the cpu area. It is both blocked by, and sucked into the vid card, and blown out the back. It depends if you have side fans, size of case etc etc. somthing to think about. A couple of people reporting the same issue have put in 5 1/4 bay coolers and seen a significant drop in temps.

Heat kills electronics. Take you side panel off and if the temps drop more than 7C (a number I pulled out of my you know what) you should look at your airflow setup.

You can set up your fans like this in your P-180. My overclocked 8800GTX idles at 55c, loads 68c, and overclocked E6600 idles at 28c loads at 52c. I have 5 yateloons, and 1 tricool.

Hope this helps,
