i bought the Geforce 8800 GTS VGA and send him the MO and he received it in 11/29/2006 and he says he will ship it via Fedex international economy to my country and he will send me the tracking infos asap..
well i waited a week and nothing (but he was still replying to PMs ) and in his last PM in 12/7/2006 he said he shipped it but was away in a business trip and when he will be back (on Friday the same week) he will send me the tracking infos that his assistant at work have them!!
Well for now Nothing, i tried emailing him, Pming him different times at Hardforums and at Anandtech but no reply whatsoever!!!
i contacted a few traders who bough from him in the same thread at Anandtech forums, they said also that he was slow in replying to them and didn't give them the tracking infos but they did receive it in the end..

U can check and see that Mazar is still visiting the forums at Anandtech Forums until yesterday when the Mods suspended his account!

Also His heatware account (http://www.heatware.com/eval.php?id=52216) shows the email address, c.r.hart@gmail.com. The address currently shown in his profile at AnandTech is jajaso@gmail.com, which is linked to a new heat account for the user name, Mandril. Furthermore, there are positive heat evals between the two accounts. THIS STRONGLY SUGGESTS YOU ARE ATTEMPTING TO COMMITTING FRAUD. Also the AnandTech Mods discovered also that the he use another username Bei Fei who also posted a positive evaluation to Mazar!

He also gave different addresses to different buyers!

BUYERS BEWARE.. i lost 488$ (price+shipping) :( for a VGA that never arrived(.. Difficult Lesson learned in Xmas :(
i submitted a negative heatware and may file a FBI complain too..
 
Thanks for the heads up....But why on earth would you send ~500.00 to a new member with no refs ......


Plus, your not even in the US.....the dude knows there is nothing you can do....

i've done deals before (even if my heatware is somehow new), and this is the first time! Well there is first time for everything..
PS: i've filed a FBI complain too..
 
Well an important update

Mazar finally contacted me via email saying that all that time he was away for his Xmas vacation and he didn't know that my card wasn't delivered. he said he was not hiding or intending to scam me out of a video card or money. he didnt have a tracking number coz he had a friend mail the card when he was out of town and he did not keep the tracking informations. !! he also said that Somehow the package was delivered back to his desk on 12/27 and labeled undeliverable!! He agreed to refund me ad he did send me a WU transfer ( he send me a MTCN number)
But since it is holidays here (Adha + new year eve) it may be until tuesday lebanon time (monday afternoon USA time) to be able to collect the money once and for all

So for now it seems everything should be in order and the issue should be resolved completely.. i am posting this to notify others. i don't know if Mazar was telling the truth abt the shipment or not but at least he tries to resolve it now and i should get my money shortly.. He may not be a troll afterall , but this what happens when bad communication (or lack of it) occurs between the seller and the buyer.. Hope it is a lesson for all..

i am glad to let you know that i got my MONEY back at last.. so basically the issue between me and Mazar is resolved . :D

Very lucky. Creating phoney heat accounts still makes him a troll rather than a trader with bad trade ethic.

Glad you got your money back and know you learned your lesson! :D
