Going to start pushing mny 950, but worried about high temps.

What are too high of temps? 70, 80s?? And by core temp or speedfan or RealTemp

Thanks

Some people say 100c. Some people say under 90c... some people say 85c. Others will even say 75c. It's a world of opinions - though 100c I believe is when Intel's temp features kicks in and 130c is when it instantly shuts off.

Bottom line is, what temperature are you comfortable with? Me personally, I am of opinion of 85 and under.

I am comfortable with low to mid 70's in the winter and low 80's in the summer with all cores 100% when running f@h

Cool........ yup pun intended... I used the easy tune and hit 4.0Ghz at 24 multi and 1.3V at 81C, Folding is 67-70C

Going to BIOS Clock now with a 23 multi to see if i can get higher and cooler.

Second question, sorry for the double post.... Whats a safe Vcore? I've seem to hit a wall. At 4.117 I can get only 4 trys in LinX at 74C then it errors. I'm at 1.35V in the bios, how much more can the Vcore go?

I've found 1.5V on here, but just double checking.

NEVER let it get to 100c!! Video cards, with much higher thresholds, have bluescreened my computer at 105c.

Keep it as cool as possible. The higher the heat and longer exposure to it will just wear out your hardware over time.

Thats a no brainer.... I peak at 75 ad Vcore of 1.365

I just need to not overvolt it by going , and found on here 1.55V max. But need to find if its still Vaslid.

Yha most likely is... But I got really worried when i seen the easytune software set it to 1.39V.

I'm don't want get to high in V before the temp get high.
