Hmm..I wouldn't go with the VS550 either as it has the same problem as that VS350: Not good enough quality. It's just plain odd that the VS550 will cost LESS than the ok quality CX500. Which leads me to believe that it's of lower quality than the already ok quality CX500. Two recent reviews of the Corsair's CS series kinda reinforces that belief for me:

ALso, I wouldn't rely too much on that earlier HardOCP link posted about the power draw: That was the power draw for the entire system, not just the GPU itself. That system included a heavily overclocked QX9770 CPU which would use more power than the Core i3 4130.
 
Hmm.. Just got back from the shop, I bought the vs550 then read this. I'm gonna cross my fingers and see, want to oc this CPU (ended up with AMD fx 6300) by around 10% from 3.6 to 4ghz on air
