Hey,

I just picked up a Ahanix D-Vine 5 computer case and of course it doesn't fit my regular atx power supply. I don't really want to mod the case, but If i wanted to, it looks like I could slide the mobo down and cut/re:rivit the back plate down about two inches, and then mount my power supply in the extra room. Id like to stay away from that.

Do any of you know of a mATX power supply that can handle crossfire? I used the wattage calculator and with my dual 4830's and a oc'd proc it says ill use around 430W at 100% load.

Recommend me.

Sorry, but you're SOL. Most mATX PSUs are of pretty low quality as well as low amperage and wattage. So they're really not meant for gaming systems of any sorts. Same applies to the SFX PSUs that your case uses as per this review:

SFX are just as low quality and low wattage as their mATX counterparts. At least from what's available on newegg.com.

make it an external PSU like I had to do back in 2004

Definitely have to do some type of mod.

You could also look for a 1U PSU, if that would fit. Those come in higher power options because they are designed for servers. Would be noisy though.

honestly though, you are going to cook some cards in a matx case, unless you are CF really low end cards.
