When it comes to technology and privacy, we certainly have a lot of discussion about that around here. No matter where you stand on that, you have wonder how social media companies handle information publicly put out on its own networks. In the past few months there have been all kinds of statements by these companies about how they are going to get better at monitoring threatening activity on their platforms. You have to wonder if this is all bullshit, they don't care, or they are simply unable to do so. I saw these last night and started to write about it then, but I was seriously hoping it was just fake news. While I will not suggest that the Express UK is a tremendously solid source, it is hardly the only news organization discussing that a "warning" was issued on Twitter (Waning: Autoroll Video) that something was happening at the Ariana Grande concert last night.
However, reports are beginning to emerge there were warnings on Twitter - four hours before the attack.
UPDATE: It is now confirmed that this tweet was sent after the bombings.
