Are you an adult male that hides his video games in hopes of someday getting a girlfriend (ouch, that was harsh, sorry)? If you answered "yes" to that question, these video game sleeves that make your games look like books might be the answer! You could probably just make your own or get a girl that likes video games, but this is still a pretty neat idea.

Who even saves the discs? Once the serial number is in Steam or Origin they are worthless anyway.

heh. It's not bad, honestly. They don't look like books though.

I want this for my non-functional fireplace :D

No way in hell I'd pay 80.00 for it though

With a passing glance it'd definitely hide the fact that you (me) waste far too much time with videogames. Box art stands out quite a bit and these, combined with some books nearby, would be more discreet.

And hell, why not? I think it looks pretty damn cool

I like these. I'm going to spend 15 minutes in photoshop making some for my games and print them off myself. 2 dollars a cover is too steep.

Ugh, no edit button.

Is it really $80? If so, screw that noise, lol

no, they're 6.00.

The fireplace cover thing is 80.00.

You'd be better off designing your own game covers (or fireplace cover for that matter) and finding a vinyl printer that will cut 'em for you.

Maybe for older stuff that isn't on a digital distribution site? I think there are a few games laying around someplace that I own that wouldn't be things I can put on Steam.

Well, and those of us who play on consoles as well. I have a stack of Xbox games sitting behind my couch. Something like this would be really nice.

"For many, the fondness only grows as you get older. Yet ironically, you also find yourself guilted into leaving it all behind to tend to your more grown-up life."

Someone needs to grow some balls.

"Make your video games look like books", um... guys, this isn't the 1980's where you will be shunned upon by the world if someone, especially a girl, *gasp* sees your video game library.
You know, lots of girls enjoy games and a gaming collection can actually be a good conversation piece, not just with a girl or guy one likes, but others as well.

Also, these "book covers" just look like cheap $1 bargin buy DVD movies, they don't really look like any books I've seen from the last 300 years.

Yeah, this is like the comments about the guy who painted legos as a scene from mario brothers in his fish tank would be chick repellent.

Women these days know that guys play videogames. If you have to hide a shelf of games because you're that insecure about your hobbies, that's going to send them away. Nevermind spending money on this when you could download Gimp, make your own in minutes, and print them at kinkos for next to nothing.

This isn't even good camoflauge either. It just looks like when you buy a used game from a mom and pop shop that didn't have the original insert, since I've never seen a book that looks like a DVD case(as if women don't know what dvd cases look like?)

Nice concept, wrong target. This would be better for the porn collection, assuming one still deals with such things on disc.

Another thing, if the guys/girls you are going after would shun you for having a game library, I would suggest that it is time to look to a different dating crowd.

For some game-addicted people, that sort of person might do them some good by dragging them away from their game to participate actively in the real world in a beneficial manner versus packing on the winter fat by living behind a screen.
