Magic Mouse

For my particular mouse, I can only hold one of the left or right buttons down at a time. If I am holding one down (say to fire a gun in a game), then I can't click t he other button.

I noticed this when I was playing Team Fortress 2 one day
 
Same problem I had with the Mighty Mouse.. oh well, looks like this one is a pass, I love mice and keyboards and mousepads and peripherals in general, but if it doesn't fix the Mighty Mouse' biggest downside, like I said, it's a pass for me.

Having to lift up a finger to register the other side click is just ridiculous.
 
My sister loves the mighty mouse however, so I just traded her. I might ask for a razer for christmas (I'm 16 and unemployed so stuff like that is great)
 
I'm tempted to have a BT mouse, but I honestly have gotten so used to the touchpad...
 
The Magic Mouse kinda alleviates some of that because of the multi-touch built in on it.

Except the implementation is poor.. at least in my opinion.

No pinch zoom, weird claw thing, have to lift one finger to click with the other side, that's not how the trackpad does it.

The trackpad works like you expect it to, not this mouse...
 
Yeah I guess it depends on what you use it for. Like I said I haven't had any issues with it. But I haven't really gamed on my Mac.
 
Not being able to right click with out first lifting your left finger off of the mouse is a lot more detrimental than it sounds, it makes using the mouse a chore, and it's not just gaming that suffers, it's all the usability of the OS, at least for me, right click isn't something I can do without.
 
I never use the trackpad on my Macbook Pro. I always use a bluetooth mouse. However, I really like the Magic Mouse. At first, I thought it would be too small for my big hands, but I easily got used to it.

It is missing one option that almost had me returning it. I always clicked my scroll wheel to open new tabs. The Magic Mouse, of course, doesn't have one. But, I found an awesome solution. It is an app simply called Middleclick. It was built for Mac trackpads, but it works with the Magic Mouse just fine. You run the app and then use a three-finder tap (not click) to simulate a third button.

Well I don't know. I right click all the time but I haven't even noticed that you can't do both at the same time until someone mentioned it in this thread.
