Laser Phosphor Display? I'm sorry if there's already a thread around, but I found this to be very interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laser-powered_phosphor_display. Has anyone ever seen one? I think it's another one of those defunct could've-been technologies like the SED.

Why research new technology and build the factories required to build them when you can sell the same thing with "more features and thinness."

Well the last news that's been out was in 2010, so I think it may have died.

I visit oled-info.com a few times a week. It's the only place that I've found that's covering new display tech regularly. Something tells me if SED comes back they won't have in depth coverage of that topic, but what are the odds of that happening
