Is this a normal set of benchmark results regarding Sandra showing considerably lower scores when "Bypass Windows Cache" is toggled in the Filesystem Benchmark?

Sandra File System Benchmark:
  • Bypass Windows Cache: 47MB/s
  • Using Windows Cache: 24MB/s

I don't think it's right, but wanted second opinions before I go chasing gremlins.
