I went with Amazon.com as much as possible since they do not charge CA residents tax. Even though the above setup is only capable of a very light OC, I included a 3rd party HSF anyway since Southern California is hot as balls during the summer. Hell it's hot now: I've had to resort to turning off my PC when I'm not using it for long periods of time due to how hot it's been lately.

also reading the reviews on newegg about that motherboard seems to have tons of problems I'm not sure if its common or not but it seems to be frequent?

Totally if 128GB of space is enough for your needs.
It does have issues but overall it's not bad. Another option would be the MSI Z77A-G43.
