I recently switched from vista to windows 7 and cannot find my dragon age origins box with the code. I still have the game on my other drive under the vista install and had registered it with bioware and had bought some of the DLC. I tried to find a way to retrieve the code from their site but was unable to find anything. Is there a way to get the cd key from my harddrive or on their website that I missed? I still have the disc so I can reinstall on my new drive if there is a way to retrieve the code. If not, I may just be using the vista drive for a few days again.

You can try contacting sites tech support.

Your problem is one of disadvantages of buying retail games.

Can you not just use your login information? That should pull all you are entitled to.

I logged on to the site that showed what games I had registered and it showed dragon age but I couldn't find a link to give me the code.

I found a site that showed where you should be able to pull the code from in your registry but for some reason it's not showing up the path they said.

Steam has the entire game + awakenings + all DLC right now for 37... it's tempting me.

$24.99 today and I just bought it ;)

I'd contact Bioware to get it resolved for what you already own, or get it on Steam for the $25 sale if you wanted the rest of the DLC anyway.
