Looking for water cooling system

Well, how do you cool your water? You use the same air, which a regular air cooler will use, unless you gonna go the water-chilling way. In any case, on C2Ds, high-end air coolers will perform just as well as low-to-midrange watercooling, imho. For WHY, read the sticky.

ok thanks!

es and no if you run a triple 120 rad and go push pull on your fans then your aircooling can never match it. sure single and dual rads have the problem for they don't disapate the heat fast enough. tri 120 rad has enough liquid in it and surface area to effectivly cool that water back down blelow room temp again. so you are right and then again your not. water cooling with the right combo of blocks and radiator is superior. I idle my 6400 at 3.5 ghz at 32 and game at 42 on my water set up how about that air set up? probably around low mid 40's and in the 50's load. which is good but not anywhere near the potential of a correctly (key word) set up watercooling system. air cooling has a come a long way and is acceptible as you say but watercooling is the way to go but you gotta do it right. a single rad on a C2D or a dual on a CPU, Chip, GPU loop won't cut it. you need a tri or quad rad to get it done the way you need.

You put a bazzilion rads, you can't go below room temp, unless you do water-chilling. Com'n man, think about it, how is it possible?

ok how much will water chilling cost? If decent water cooling is 150 bucks then im guessing at least twice that? What is water chilling? Will this water chilling get me to below 30C?

Decent water cooling is more than $150, hell some radiators cost $135. Figure $250-300 for decent water cooling. TEC and chilled systems will of course be higher.

decent watercooling kits are at least $200+. you can get by with a kit worth $150, but performance/temp difference wouldn't be worth it and you'd be better getting a highend air cooler.

depending if you have the space or want to mod your case, i say the simpliest route to go would be to grab a kit from Petra's and add parts as needed. Petra's kits have a external radbox so you can mount the rad outside the case and you could get by running the tubing through a open pci slot.
