I love my current one, but it's a bit large for my current case and is bending some of the aluminum from being crammed in there. Can anybody recommend me a short, quiet psu with short, flexible cables (preferably modular if they will fit)?
 
As far as I know, the TT Silent PurePower is among "average" in terms of PSU size. You can effectively rule out the OCZ Powerstreams as they are oversize. How much space do you have exactly?
 
What's the length on the Superflower? I like them as well, but if it is as big as my TT, it won't fit. The cable plugs would jam into my optical drive.

That's how much room there is now. This is a shorter length optical drive btw.
 
Just shy of 6 1/2 inches. I have it in a Cavalier 1 with lots of room.
 
I don't think it would fit unless I got a shorter optical drive. I have 13.75" total from front to back, and need around 1"-1.5" in between the psu and optical drive. The Tt is about 5.75" and the CD burner is about 7" from front bezel to back. Looks like I'm gonna need a shorter psu or a shorter optical drive. Any suggestions on either?

Hmmm....not ATM but I will get to measuring optical drives and PSU's I have around and see what I come up with for you.
 
Hey shadow measured all of my optical drives......apparently all Pioneers are longer than your current...sorry man. :(
 
Damn. I wish Aspire made good psus. The one that came with it is a beautiful unit. Short flexible, very well sleeved cables. Nice and short. Smoky gloss finish. *looks at it and cries*
