Looking for budget sub recommendation

I've been using Audioengine A5's for a few years now with no sub. I'm on a tight budget looking for something in the ~$200 range to go with them. I don't really know anything about subs, but I've read that some are better for gaming, some are better for movies, etc. I use my A5's for literally everything, but my priority would be movies>music>gaming.

I'm in the same boat here after my old Yamaha YST-SW215 died the other day. I was considering the Energy ESW-C8 mentioned above (how much better is the EW-100?), the Yamaha YST-SW216 or the Polk PSW10. Can anyone speak to the relative merits of those? I'm kind of budget and (more so) space limited, which is why I was leaning toward those, but I'm open to other suggestions as well.
 
Get this if space permits: BIC F12

Its $185 shipped and probably a better bang for the buck than everything suggested so far.
