Looking for an updated vid card

Hi all,

I currently have in my htpc/gaming rig a ATI 4870 HD. While its a great card for my needs, I want to move this to my secondary rig and purchase an updated card. My main requirement is to do audio over HDMI, which is the way that I have it connected to my 50" monitor/TV

Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.
 
HD5850/HD5870 are probably the only worthwhile cards to step up to, unless of course you want to spend the big bucks for a HD5970. Other cards wouldn't be a significant boost imo. Course your other hardware will need to be up to snuff to reap the benefits as well.
