looking for a new m-atx case

doing a new build soon and just deciding on all the parts. have it all chosen pretty much apart from the case. i am going to using the ROG maximus v gene m-atx board. this build is going to be water cooled and was wanting a clean simple case that has 2x120 or maybey 140 at the top, 2x 120 front then at least 120 at the back.

most cases i have looked at only have one 120 on the top, but this build is going to be watercooled so want to have 2 240rads, one at the front and one at the top. will be cooling cpu and 2x7970
 
Yeah, budget needed. Other than that, I don't think there's much choice in terms of a uATX for what you are wanting to accomplish. Maybe the Fractal Arc Mini, but I doubt a radiator could be mounted in the front since the drive cages are there.

You could go for the Fractal Core 1000 which sells for roughly half the price of the Arc Mini: click

don't know what the fan setup is, but if i were going to get a m-atx case it would be the 350D

To do an internal loop, with x2 240's maybe even a 280 in the front if so desired, hard to beat the looks and function of a 350D... I suspect it's primary competitor will be the Arc mini r2 but I haven't seen any details on it.

As far as I know, there is no Arc Mini R2 (yet)... WorldExclusive post mentioned cases arriving in May - Fractal Design would have announced the case by now if it were to come out this month. They were talking about the Arc Midi R2. Easy to see how they might get the names mixed up.

But I agree an Arc Mini R2 would be great. Fully removable drive bays for stock support for a front mounted 240mm radiator, possibly with the ability to install the drive cages further back ala the Midi R2 (assuming there would be enough room in the mini for that), that sweet smoked side window (shrunk down for the mini), and maybe that full 1" (plus) clearance behind the motherboard tray with removable sleds for mounting SSD/2.5" HDD behind the tray (with out having to remove the PSU/motherboard like on the Midi R2...)

Trying to decide between Arc Mini, Arc Midi R2 and 350D myself... an Arc Mini R2 would make the decision much easier :(

You maybe right seems like they would of announced it or some leak would of happened etc, and yes! I was thinking about that too even looking at the 350D, would like an option to snug the HDD bays closer to the PSU. This might make more sense for an "Arc Mini" tho as you can fit a thicker rad in the roof than you can in the 350D (Assuming that they use the same kind of offset as in the original). In a loop with the 350D the front rad is gonna be the heavy lifter and so with the space it's almost a no brainer to put a 60mm thick there.

I think a 350D ticks all the right boxes for me. I just love the look. If I can swing it I'd like to get a Z87 board like the asus Gryphon or Gene, and this case.
 
Well, that didn't take long... Fractal Design announced the Arc Mini R2. Everything I was looking for and more. Including removable 5.25" bays to make way for a thick 360mm top mounted radiator with fans in P/P, plus a front mounted 240mm rad like on the Midi R2.
