Im looking for a new case, nothing too flashy, or ugly. I like the Lian Li series, but they're so damn expensive. I am considering the coolermaster stacker, but just wanted to see waht you all suggest/like personally.

Thanks

Lian Li 6070 is good... comprable to the WaveMaster

Lian Li V1200 is good... between the WaveMaster and the CMStacker

Lian Li V2000 is amazing... So so so so much better than the CMStacker.

I'd spend the $$$ and get the V2000...

i dont like the Lian Li 6070 the other 2 are very nice

if i get into some money maybe ill buy it, but right now its kinda out of my price range.

you can always check out the kingwin cases, they are good and they were recommended by MaximumPC magazine.

Stacker is the only ATX/BTX case out there that I know of... it's fairly large tho. If you want something smaller a CM Praetorian (tho CM is phasing them out for their new ones which will be released soon), a Kingwin KT-424, or one of Lian Li's dozen models will fit the bill.

If it doesn't have to be aluminum Silverstone has some very nice steel-made models (with aluminum bezzels so they still look quite good), the TJ-06 has an interesting design (BTX-like), the TJ-05 I think it is has a more traditional internal design andb curvy bezzel similar to the CM Wavemaster.

I bought a Thermaltake Tsunami because they have great cooling, and are nowhere near as "riced out" as the usual TT cases. Plus Newegg gave me free shipping and a free watch :D. I'm still glad I purchased it over a Lian Li PC65B.

FWIW, the Lian Li "V" series are all ATX and BTX compatible -- even more so than the CMStacker.

I was comparing the price of the stacker to the lian li cases, and well for the extra 40$ i think i might just buy a lian li.

yes, I'd definitely say get the Lian Li. If you see them both in person, the Lian Li construction is 100% aluminum, and is very thick. The CMStacker is nice, but I don't think the construction is anything to brag about.

yes i used to own a pc65, then i got het brihgt idea to paint it, and well the case was ruined

Im looking for under 200$

I was taking a peak at that Coolermater Centrio? excuse spelling: It looks very nice, except I dont like the fact it doesn't use 120mm fans

The first case isn't too bad the only thing that worries me is the card mounting slots and the front intake fan, which I dont see in the pics.

The second case is too ricey on the front for me, otherwise I'd buy it instantly.

The third case I own the non-full tower version atm and is awesome, except on that specific model I hate how they mounted the psu bracket.

the site i have seen w/ the most cases is called laptops4me.com

i will look there for you after i finish this paper due fri... i am a college student and i have to work sometime :p

Yep, same case, only difference is the bezzel... The Wavemaster has 1 less 5.25 bay if that matters to you as well (the Praetorian has four total). The Wavemaster can acommodate a fan on the top just like the Praetorian does stock too (comes with a bracket for it), tho you lose the extra ports there. Internally they're identical... Wave's fans will intake a lil' less air due to the more restricted intake slots (round holes behind the monolithic decor element) versus the Praetorian's more open grill.

well whats the reason for the extra 50$ then.......

The reason is the curvy decoration 'wave' bezzel... The Wavemaster's always sold for $30-$40 more than the Praetorian, I guess it's costlier to manufacture that bezzel than the flat one on the Praet's.

no open both links side by side. they are the exact same color, model number, item number everything

You're right, he did paste the same link twice (I hadn't bothered to open them); I'm assuming it was an error and he meant to post a link to the Wavemaster since he mentioned a 'wave' and said he was looking at CM cases before (then asked why one costed more)... If so what I said before still applies.

That was a honest mistake, I meant to paste 1 link to the wave and another to the presornian case.

I think im going to go with the non-wave, although I do like the idea of the front door.
