Looking for a monitor around 24-inch for like $130. I want it to be high quality, with an HDMI port. You guys know of anything, I'm not really seeing anything. Maybe I should wait for Black Friday?

Thanks

Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a high quality monitor for $130. Even the 500$ dell ultrasharp is of mediocre quality.

high quality is kind of subjective. we need to know more about your usage scenario before offering meaningful advice

Well, I want to get a monitor for my Xbox One. I don't want to spend to much, but I don't want some random brand, located out of North Korea. I would like it to be 24-inch, with HDMI. I don't need it to be a "gaming monitor" as long as it's not gonna make my gaming experience bad...

Spend double and get the Qnix QX2710 Evo2 Multi Hot. I think they're like $260 or less on Ebay. Best bang for the buck for what you're going to use it for.

Craigslist might just be your only option.

Plenty of times I've met up with people and they actually do have nice things.

But if you insist on going brand spankin new....

Get your self a few more bucks and you can easily score a decent 1080p monitor for $150 from Amazon or Best Buy.

$139 plus a $20 credit towards it, promo ends tomorrow.
$119 with credit. And to save shipping costs and time, see if you can price match this in a brick and mortar store.

With the extra money you have, buy one of these

Was just looking on Amazon and here is a nice looking 24" Acer that has almost 2500 reviews and it's a 4 1/2 star rating for 129.99 and free shipping.

Not sure if serious or trolling...anyway, spend more on an HP 25CW or 25XW since they are much better than the majority of displays in existence and are essentially glow free unlike the majority of AHVA/IPS/PLS panels. Read my HP 27CW & 25XW double review.

The Acer G246HL recommended in here suffers from really obvious overshoot ghosting and uses LED PWM Dimming when the brightness is set below 100%. PWM ruins motion clarity (example) and makes some people see flickering transparent horizontal black lines moving down the display and/or makes some people suffer from health issues like headaches and/or eyestrain. Most low end non-BenQ, Dell, HP, Dell and LG monitors use PWM.

NCX says good things about these HP panels. Flicker-free and accurate IPS. $152 for 23, $199 for 27 currently.

The 23" models are generic matte panels which are inferior compared to the 25-27" HP CW & XW series monitors.
