I would like to build a box which can support up to 5-10 concurrent users, which means that I can use cheap hardware as long as I do daily backups. The box will run a small DB and apache. The box must also be nearly silent. This is what I have in mind, so please add details and recommendations:
1) Quiet PSU?
2) Athlon XP (I need an overclockable one without a huge change in voltage settings) Maybe a 2400+ ?
3) Large, but low-cost heatsink which can use a quiet case fan.
4) 2x 1gb PC3200 memory
5) Any IDE drive that is a model least likely to fail. For now, I'm thinking about a 16mb cache maxtor.
6) Mainboard which has basic OC settings, onboard ethernet, and graphics, but can support up to 4gb of memory.
7) Cheap case
