Logmein hamachi / VPN questions

i tried to setup a VPN on our server and a client but i don't think it works.

i was going to try out Logmein Hamachi, but when i went to install it on the server it said i had DNS Dynamic Updates enabled and it wasn't recommended to install if Logmein Hamachi's IP address was registered. I didn't fully understand the directions to disable it, nor did i think this was a good idea.

any help or experienced users of Logmein Hamachi ?

i need to give a user in our workgroup access to the files on the server remotely with limited access
 
just set up a pptp vpn with server 2003. easy just google how. open the ports and have the user login with same credentials
 
yes even with 1 card. its a simple 5 minute install. run the Add Role wizard. in active director click on the name and give em dial in access.

open port yada yada
