We see a lot of negatives, so I just wanted to post a positive experience in here.
I got a Logitech G7 mouse for Christmas in 2005. It worked great and I loved it.
This summer, my motherboard crapped out on me. After getting a new one, and reinstalling windows, my mouse stopped working about 30 minutes after I reinstalled the setpoint drivers. No matter what I tried, I could not get it to work. (Cursor was there, but could not control it). The USB for the reciever/charger was working fine, the reciever had power and was charging batteries. The mouse had power, and I could see the laser working - there was just no connectivity. I threw the mouse in a drawer and have been using a crap kensington USB since then.
Since I got it as a gift, I didn't have a reciept, and I threw away the box when I moved a few months back. Today I opened up the drawer and figured I'd give their tech support a call. I got a guy who spoke English, and seemed very competent. I told him what I had done - he had me try one other connectivity reset which didn't work.
I figured I was screwed without a receipt/box. The tech support guy said they'd send me a new model G7 free of charge. I was very happy, and asked for an RMA number, thinking they were going to cross ship the mice. I was told to keep the batteries for the old mouse, as they'd work just as well in the new one, and just throw it away.
I could not be happier with their service. They just saved me ~$80+ as I was going to order a new one. Now I can pay the traffic ticket my damned wife got yesterday!
