its more than just a 510, it has increased resolution on the sensor, I want a 710 or 910 to be made though, and drop the stupid skin :/
 
Have you even looked at the logitech website? it says at the bottom that it is available exclusively at BEST BUY
 
I was looking for one of these the other day since if i move my optical mouse (some older logitech model) too fast it can't keep up.

Best Buy normally carries them but in my area they were out of stock

I like it too. I think.

Also, why not just buy a MX500 if you don't like the color? So what you lose a tiny bit of sensitivity. There is no doubt in my mind that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two if they didn't look different.
 
Unfortunately, it is only available at Best Buy. Would probably be best to get a friend or someone to order it in the US and then ship it to you.

But as someone already said, you might want to stick with the mx500. Cheaper without any lag whatsoever. Looks good as well.

My mouse never gets jitters, this is either a hair on the sensor, your computer lagging, or you never uped the refresh rate in windows.

I usually put new batterys in when my mouse starts to go weird (mx700) I dont think I've experienced the jitters though
 
I bought one this past friday (the 26th) to replace my MS explorer optical 3.0 which started acting very weird...this thing simply kicks ass...it moves ALOT smoother than my MS did and it sure the fuck tracks better.... right now im running teflon tape on the feet and a lower sensitivity and it still moves more fluid than the MS did...also Im actually enjoying playing games again :p
funky red paint job aside...it is really nice..it also has drivers specifically made for it..from what i gather the regular mx500 drivers wont work with it (havent tried tho :p ) but so far the drivers that came with it havent given me shit..had a slight problem with quake3...but it was fixed and its running smoothly

I heard it's going to come out in different colors and in different stores later on.
 
the MX510 gives you more DPI, its a different color, has better drivers and the buttons work better in games. if you dont care about these things get a MX500.
 
Yea they dont have a real great track record but they have some really good deals sometimes. I just ordered another copy of Morrowind from them cause they had it for $19.99 and free shipping. So i thought what the heck. I ordered it and got in Saturday. Problem is the bottom of the front flap on the retail box was scuffed up, there was a crack in the jewel case, and the CD's were all lose inside of it flying around. So i called them up this morning and said i was sending it back for replacement. The lady said just send it back to us with a copy of your shipping charges and we'll replace it and reimburse you for the shipping cost. They also have Gothic 2 for just $29.99 and everything is free shipping. Plus you get a free UT2004 demo disk with your order. That might sound like nothing to those of you on broadband but us poor dial up users dont like to spend 3 days downloading something lol.

Yea i know lol. I was exaggerating because i didn't know how large the UT2004 demo was. And i only get like 3.5KB/s max continuous download speed :p.

And even on the Best Buy invoice that came with the package it said if it was damaged in any way to send it back to them along with the receipt from shipping charges and they will cover it. There are stickers and everything already made out on the invoice to use so you just slap them on and mail it back. It costs like $2.00 or a little more for a 1 lb. package to ship priority mail which is 2-day and you'll get fully reimbursed.
