Logitech keyboard question

hi all, I was recently looking into this cd organizer the CD Organizer [CDM-751] and one of the reviews on that very same site and this is what he said
"I was really looking forward to this product and was happy when it arrived today. Now, it has been 2 hours since I installed the software and I can finally use my computer again.

When you install the software you are required to reboot the system. When I rebooted the system I signed in as usual, looked away as Windows XP finished loading and when I turned back around I had a blue screen of death.

Hmmm. I tried booting again, this time watching carefully. Sure enough, the last instance of an image I could see before crashing was the splash screen for the KDS software.

That prompted about a 25 minutes wait on hold for KDS technical support. When my call was finally answered I explained the problem and was asked if I had a Logitech keyboard or mouse. Of course I do, it's only the most popular brand of aftermarket keyboards and mice.

His advice, boot in safe mode, remove any Logitech products and switch to a PS2 keyboard and mouse. He assured me that they are working on new software that should fix the problem. Not wanting to rely on that promise, I suggested that KDS accept the shipping charges for the product to be returned but not surprising, they refused."

Now after this i am wondering if this is true and do the logitech keyboards and mouses cause the blue screen?

probably that kds software, wut exactly does it do im sure there is better stuff out there

I never saw a reason to own anything like that....as it's just a gimmick for the extremely lazy or careless. Now, with this type of news, I am absolutely sure no one should own it. Are they saying they've never tested their software on a computer with Logitech devices? Some wonderful QA there.

One thing is for sure, it's not the Logitech stuff that's messing it up. A lot of people have Logitech keyboards/mouses and that doesn't really cause the screen to go blue.

Like everybody says, the KDS software is probably the reason.

Since you didn't have this problem till you installed the KDS software its pretty likely that its the organizer thats doing it to ya by not playing nice with the Logitech drivers.

That being said I have nothing but bad things to say about logitech drivers over the years. I generally don't install them and just let windows handle the whole thing with its drivers. Have you tried just plugging in whatever logitech usb device you have without installing the driver and then seeing if you still get the blue screen?

i dont have the problem i was just looking over the internet and this product came up and i was just looking at the reviews because it looks useful to me.
I was just asking if logitech products cause the problem or if it was the organizer but i guess it is the organizer.
thanks. Guys
