Not really, the G7 is wireless, I hope this is the first wireless gaming mouse!TekSomniaK said:The Razer Copperhead looks cooler. I'll get that.
inotocracy said:Spiffy, the G5 has replacable weights. Has any other company done this before?
are you asking a question?

Well anyways on topic that looks like a good mouse, but I'm not going to buy it I think, I have both a MX510 and 518 so thats good enough for me.

Now to rain on the parade, but come on.... The product cycles for mice are becoming as short as video cards, yet not offering any real world advantage IMO. They do however continue to jack the price up.
The MX700/MX500 was the last real step for anything new, while the MSIE 3.0 was great, the 4.0 added that horrible clickless wheel.
And honestly is the LCD screen on the keyboard really useable, do you guys actually look at the keyboard while playing a game?
AceTKK said:Hehe, I agree 100%. My several-year-old intellimouse explorer 3.0 is still going strong. I bought an MX510, couldn't tell the slightest difference, and promptly returned it.
Does anybody remember that Simpsons episode where "Duff Dry", "Duff Lite", etc. were all coming from the same vat? It makes you think...
