Logitech G500 Mouse $33.99 FS after MIR @ Amazon

lol It shows "Price after rebate" if the rebate is current. If not, it says what it says now, "rebate forms for recent purchases." Failed @ reading comprehension. Way to go FurBurglar.
 
Damn, this would have been perfect for me too. I need a new mouse.
 
I acknowledged that I passed over the dates for the rebates in my haste to post this here for others. The reason for my "Way to go Amazon" is this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...w?ie=UTF8&qid=1297909852&sr=8-1&condition=new Notice it says "Special Offers". Then you click on the link and see the $20 rebate and it is easy to miss that it has expired. Just kind of misleading is all and obviously causes people to make mistakes. Yes I fail at life, but they aren't making it any easier. Let the heckling continue.

Anyway I've been looking for a good price everywhere on a good mouse and finally bought this: http://www.directron.com/xl750f.html for $25 flat. Never heard of the brand but theres lots of reviews and I couldn't beat the price. Next best choice was CM Storm Inferno for $45 :/ hope I don't regret it

Nice, I need a new mouse myself... my G7 is dying, and that looks tempting. Logitech gave me 50% off at their store, but even with 50%, a g9x will cost me $40, and I've not been having luck with logitech.

Apparently they send you the latest version XL-750BK with 3600dpi, as a few people stated and you can see in this review: http://www.3dgameman.com/forum/member-reviews/a4tech-x7-xl-750bk-gaming-mouse

$40 for g9 isn't bad, I almost paid $40 at ewiz for the cooler master storm inferno, and I really hope I don't regret spending $15 more more more mouse buttons...

I keep arguing with myself about which one to get. The G9X or the A4tech X7... which do you think? $15 difference.

For me that wouldn't be a very hard choice, because the only reason i was going to spend more for a mouse was for more buttons, but I don't think the G900 has more buttons... I am very cheap however, and for someone else it might be worth a little extra money for a proven product. I wish I had my X7 already so I could tell you what I think... but here is a Youtube video that shows it in use even though it's another language I think it has the best quality:

Things that attracted me are I heard it was big, and I like that because I want my entire palm to rest on it. Also I think the triple click feature might come in handy, and I'm sure other mouses can do this but I believe you can set it up for 180 turns etc... and I think it looks pretty good.
 
Since the biggest joke was on me since I had ordered the mouse BEFORE I noticed the rebate had expired I figured I would give my $.02 on the mouse itself. Hands down the best mouse I have ever had. I think at $53.99 it is still a great deal for this mouse now that I have used it.
