I currently have 2 gtx 580s in sli and I want to use them in an FT03 but the temps gets pretty, up in the 90s. I can get an asus DCII Top for $275 but i can't find too many reviews on it comparing it to sli. I know i'll lose a little bit of performance but was hoping the temps would be much better for that case. I game on a vg236h and my cpu is a 2500k.
 
I thought 90's would be fine too but i always have skyrim crash when the temps get that high. i moved them to an antec case and there is more space between the cards but i just don't like the case. highest it gets in the antec is 68.

as for watercooling, it is expensive and i'm not looking to spend more. i figure if i can sell them and pocket a little since the price of the 7970 seems to be pretty good.
