1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
To play dota 2 and web browsing
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
I would like to spend 500 or under but slightly over wouldnʻt be the end of the world. I live by the newegg warehouse so i will do will call.
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

USA orange county.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Case, Ram, MOBO, GPU, PSU, Optical, Hard drive, CPU. I will list what i have put together below.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
No reuse as of now i may take a hard drive out of an old lap top.
6) Will you be overclocking?

I am in the market for a monitor budget is separate from the computer would like to spend 100 or under on a monitor.

Just under two weeks.

Wait hang on: The Newegg Warehouse is in City of Industry, not Orange County. That's easily a 70 minute round-trip. Considering SoCal traffic, it might be cheaper for you to just order the parts from Amazon.com where they offer free shipping. That is unless you somehow got Orange County and City of Industry confused.
 
Youʻre right its would be cheaper just to pay the 20 dollars to ship it. Anyways that does not change my budget ill consider the shipping separate from my budget

I don't think that adapter will be sufficient due to its small size which means a small antenna. Spend the extra $7 and get a PCI-E Wifi adapter:

thank you i have added that to my cart. Next i need to get a monitor and i have a $15 best buy credit so i suppose i will buy it there. Do you have any good(cheap) recommendations for monitors.
 
Also would it be worth it to spend the extra money to get a core i3 if I am just using this to run DOTA2?
 
If you were to upgrade anything then yes, go with an upgraded CPU.
 
newegg has the Corsair CX500 power supply for $29.99 after promo code EMCXVVW34 and $20 rebate. Also, i personally don't like the micro ATX motherboard, especially considering the dual slot video card will be blocking one of the few expansion slots.
 
Which motherboard would you recommend if i was to go with something other than the mircro atx?

You haven't shown or said anything where you would absolutely need an ATX motherboard.
 
I am going to purchase build that Danny suggested. I will be putting in the order this thursday or friday and just wanted to make sure that it is still the most suggested build as i know things change fast. I am also going to go with the wifi card and monitor that he suggested. I appreciate all of the help.

I canʻt seem to find it for 107 it seems that all of them on newegg are 119 which will put me pretty far over my budget plus the 500W PSU is only 39.99 after the rebate. Do you think i will see a huge difference in performance between these 2 processors?

The processor is 119, but when you checkout you use the code to get 10% off which takes it to 107. I didn't notice the rebate on the 500w so you are looking at +$38 for the processor and -5 for the PSU to make your increased cost +$33. The i3 gives you hyperthreading for a 4 thread total as opposed to the Pentium you are looking at. Also, you get AVX support with the i3 and the Pentium does not. For +$33 you are getting a proc that will perform better overall especially in games that take advantage of multiple cores.

I personally believe the i3 is a much better proc for the money compared to the Pentium.
 
I don't factor in MIR until I actually receive them. With that said, DooKey's CPU and PSU recommendations would only put you over budget by $13. The CX500 is no longer available from Amazon.com proper so might as well get the CX430 from Newegg if you're gonna buy the CPU from there anyway.

So they're solid recommendations.
 
Ok i am going with the i3 instead of the pentium. Also what ram could i substitute because that one will not ship until late march and that is too long for me to wait. I am going to order this tonight.

What do you mean it's not on sale or available at Amazon anymore? I see the CX500W on Amazon right now for the original price Danny quoted at $58 and it ships from and sold by Amazon.com.
 
It was on sale at newegg for 49.99 with a $20 rebate. I am just wondering if i should spend 58 on that one or if there is a better psu for the price.
 
We don't factor in MIR here, they are never guaranteed.

With that being said, if you can swing the $58 then go for it. Otherwise go with the cheaper CX430 for like $45.
