linux game performance on Intel uhd 620?

I have an 10210u laptop with 32 GB of 2666 ram. Will linux allow me to up the TDP to 25 somehow windows Throttle stop will do it but eventually the tdp drops back to 15 watts. And can linux game on intel 620 graphics?

The Intel built in graphics is very weak for games. You should get a gaming laptop with a dedicated GPU.

Of course that depends on the game. The game maker would have their requirements listed on their pages somewhere.

Yes in this case his hardware is so weak that it barely runs the 2D desktop without choking.

The intel 620 is not dead slow sure its no RTX card but its is quite capable of playing games at 720 especially if you have 32GB of ram and boost the TDP to the max . I also own three RTX laptops two rtx 2060 and Tigerlake w 3060... THis is just an experiment to see what I could squeeze out of this little I5 10210u HP laptop.....Linux performs better than windows with lower end hardware......
