1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Light gaming with with RPG's and RTS. Really a big fan of the Witcher 2, but have to run it on low settings on current computer. Should be somewhat future proof as I don't plan on buying another computer for 3 years or so.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$800-900 including shipping. I live in Oregon so no sales tax
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
Portland, OR
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
MB, RAM, CPU, Case, SSD, Video Card, OS
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
PSU Antec EA-500
Lite On Dvd
HD 750GB WD Black
6) Will you be overclocking?
Just what I can do using stock cooling
7) 7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
Currently using 1680x1050 but will probably buy a bigger one within four months
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Within a couple months
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
Prefer USB 3.0, latest SATA standard, no Crossfire, and probably no raid
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
No I do not but will be looking for a 64bit version

Here is my preliminary part list

Case Corsair Obsidian 550d 125.99
Ram CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) 44.99
HD Sandisk Extreme 120GB 79.99
CPU Intel Core i5-3570K 199.99
MB ASUS P8Z77-V LK 129.99
VC XFX DD 7850 224.00
OS Window OS 7 HP 90.49

Thanks in advance for the feedback!

After looking at my finances, I will probably start buying parts in two months.

All right, please come back when you're 2-3 weeks away from buying the PC parts as you'll get more of an up-to-date build list.

Though if you were building today, that setup does have some issues:
- Personally I'd go with the more reputable Corsair Performance Pro, Crucial M4, Samsung 830, Plextor M3, or Intel 520 series SSDs.
- That RAM's heatsinks are fairly tall so it will interfere with many 3rd party HSF out there. Considering that there are lower profile RAM out there that costs the same or less, no real reason to get that specific Corsair set until it drops dramatically in price.
- That GPU is a bit overpriced at $225 when $35 gets you an even faster HD 7870.
