So I just recieved my case, eagerly open the box and they sent me a used one! It had an Athlon X2 sticker on the front, scuffed top plastic thing on the bezel and scratches on the inside. Also this case rattles like crazy, the sidepanels and rear exspansion slotes rattle pretty bad. Is this normal or noticeable while the PC is running? I payed for a new product not a used product so I think i'll return it. Do all Lian Li cases rattle?

Well i'd have to pay a 15% restocking fee to get my money back which I understand so I'll just RMA it. Anyone else ever recieve something from Newegg sold as new but it was used? Makes me question who I purchase my mobo from.

Lol man they musta sent you an open box by accident. That blows...tell them you want to exchange it for a new one and that'll be the end of it.

I chatted with a rep and filed a claim. It's a nice looking case, I'll just find a way to make the rattle go away.

Hey Inscape,

We’re glad to hear that you had a chance to chat with one of our reps, and set up a claim.

FYI: Had you decided to set up an RMA instead of a claim, we would have waived the restocking fee due to the issues you described. It is never our intention for a customer to be deducted a restocking fee on a defective item, item that was incorrectly sent, etc. If anytime in the future you create an online RMA, you may contact our customer service department to see if your restocking fee is eligible to be waived.

We will also waive a restocking fee on an item, if you purchase a product of equal or greater value. Simply contact our Customer Service department with your new Sales Order (SO#).

Feel free to PM us here on HardForum, if you’d like me to look into this issue for you. :)
