Lg 23 inch LED IPS?

This is actually the LG IPS231P, which is garbage for gaming due to the very slow response time.

Best to stick with the U2311H or wait for PRAD's review of the Asus ML239H.

I have two of the 23" version LG IPS236V but if you like the look of the Dell U2311H more, than it's certainly a very good monitor as well.
 
According to Digital Versus the ghosting on the IPS226 is similar to that of the Dell U2211 or 2311, and therefore much better than the IPS231P (which isn't quite the same as the IPS236V as it has a better stand and portrait mode etc).

According to me, it's there but definitely not unplayable. It's better than the average 5ms TN panel (such as what you see on almost all laptops), but worse than the average 2ms TN.

The fact that it supports up to 76hz and has a low input lag makes it great for gaming too.
Only issue is that you might get pretty bad clouding on your unit.
 
Well if I use Vysnc which I do I wonder if that would help
