So my new system install went great, now that I have my motherboard. Not a single hitch, until I loaded UT2004 and 3dMark03. See pics HERE

Those are the only "games" I've loaded so far, but I suspect this is going to be across the board. So far I have tried plugging and unplugging the extra power ports on the motherboard with no luck. My system:

Leadtek PX6600GT TDH Graphics card
DFI Lanparty Ultra-D motherboard
Seasonic SuperTornado 400W PSU
Seagate 80GB 8mb cache HDD
NEC 3520A DVD/R/RW
1 GB Corsair Value Ram

I am not overclocking either the motherboard or the video card at this point.

Everything will actually RUN, I just can't make anything out. I let 3DMark03 run to the end, and ended up with 2300 points, which I KNOW isn't right.

I've tried different display drivers (including beta), motherboard drivers, reinstalled windows, reseated the card, tried a different mobo. I think I will have to RMA tomorrow, but thot I'd throw this out to see if anyone has any ideas.

Whoa, that's some corruption.

But before we address the video card problem, care to explain the moisturizer right next to the computer in the first pic?

Oh, thats hilarious, i almost bust a gut laughing out loud, now my sister is looking at me like i'm an idiot.

maybe he has bad skin, you never know...

anyhows, If the card works right in 2D I would think its a driver issue, but since youve already done that I guess the card must be bad. My card did somethign similar to that when the fan on the stock HSF died, but since your card is brand new its most likely not that.

hahaha, that first picture is classic.

Crazy artifacting also, never seen anything like it. I woudl just RMA the card if you have tested various drivers with no luck.

are you sure you didn't squirt anything on there like some guy did @ anandtech to his 6800ultra? :p
