Ok, I remember there was a sticky for DIY LCD screens. It has links for all the software and guides on how to wire up the screens etc. Anyone know where that went?

Also, I was wondering if they made anything new to drive a LCD display through the printer port besides port I/O? I'm having issues with mine not wanting to start with windows anymore and either it comes on later or doesn't come on at all. Any help?

check out Lilliput 7" touch screens. they are vga and have built in sound too, in addition to the USB controlled touch feature.

You should try one of these

I have one and it's great. Easy to setup and use...all done through USB.

No thanks. My current model I built for less than 15 bucks. Granted, its not as easy as USB, but I would rather save some money and work a little harder at it. Besides, buying something like that is just adding bling, building one is a much sweeter accomplishment.

So no one knows where the LCD/VFD howto section is anymore?
