I am looking to upgrade from my 8600GT, the problem I am having is finding a 8800GT or 9600GT that is single slot, or short enough to fit. Can you guys show me some pictures or suggestions of what you are running, or what would fit? I do have one of my pci slots taken up with a sound card, so I would like to be able to leave that in there. If you are running a 8800GT or 9600GT and it fits, with room to spare. Please link the card you bought from Newegg. Thanks a bunch.

I know that all 8800GT cards are the same length and most of them are actually single slot.
I'm using the BFG 8800GT but the one from eVGA and lots of others is also single slot. Same goes for the 9600GT

thats for the super long cards... like the 8800 GTX or 9800 GTX etc.

yeah,... you shouldnt have an issue unless you get some freakishly long card
You do not need to remove it completely, there is a simple mod to move it to the side to let the long card go by it. All it involves is moving it over and drilling a screw hole through the bottom of the case and you are good to go with your long card and your hard drive cage.
