I have an All in One setup running the latest OpenIndiana and wanted to set up LACP (my first time). I tried the better part of 8 hours to no avail. I followed this guide:
http://breden.org.uk/2008/04/05/home-fileserver-trunking/

Basically the link would show as up, but I had absolutely no network connectivity. The switch was properly configured, but something I was doing did not work...

Finally I went here:

and this works. However, using these steps I can't seem to make the configuration persistent through a reboot. Any ideas?

I'm not familiar with the product...what part isn't persistent through the reboot? If you reboot exactly what commands must you issue to return to normal state? I would assume that a startup script containing those commands would work?

Also with regard to the LACP section on the first link you sent, did you ensure that you're doing either negotiation or static LACP on both the box and the switch? If one is negotiating and the other isn't it wont work.
