I just wanted to make a thread and praise EVGA for the terrific customer service that I've experienced. I had to RMA my first 7900gt back in September, and received a replacement promptly. It started to have issues as well a few weeks ago, and I then RMA'd a second time. I come to find out, I now have a 7900GTO on the way, which makes me quite happy. I'm not sure if it was due to shortages in replacements (probably), or the fact that I've had to RMA twice, that they decided to upgrade my card for free. Regardless, that is really great customer service right there, I think I've heard similar stories on here where people have been upgraded for free. Thanks EVGA!

Yeah, I had to return a 7900gtx to them, and then just had to return a 7950gx2 to them. It's been good to have eVGA there for you while we tread this nightmare called the 7-series Nvidia cards.  ;)

I had pretty much the same experience with a 7900GT KO 256mb Superclock a couple weeks ago and I recieved a 7950GT KO 512mb Superclock in return.

Evga is tops in my book. Who else as people available 24/7 who actually speak English? They may get stuck with Nvidia's problems but they won't allow a customer to be stuck.

I've been very happy with my eVGA 6800GT I bought a few years back. If I decide to go the Nvidia route again, I'll be sticking with eVGA. Too bad they don't make ATI cards! :(

they're the best there is.

i had problems with my 6800gt i bought back in late 2004. nothing i did would fix it. finally i wise up and call them a year later (decemberish 2005) and they diagnose it as bad video ram. unfortuantely i bought it before they had the lifetime warranty, and my year warranty was up, but they replaced it for me anyway after they here the sob story (it helps immensely that they have great, professional people who speak english natively).

more bad news, the card they ship is doa. they offer to replace it, and this was my biggest beef with them. the time it took to replace this second card. it took over a month. the biggest problem was their failure to communicate. but it turned out the reason for this was because they were sending me a 7800gs, and they had to wait for the nda to be lifted to even tell me. i guess they didnt have any more 6800gts to give me, so i had to wait that month.

i finally got it in early february, and i guess it was worth the wait. biggest complaint would be that they didn't cross ship, and it just took forever. but, they do that with their new cards now.

there would have to be a heck of a price difference on the same hardware for me to not buy an evga in the future.

psh.. evga didnt take my rebate that was clearly on newegg at the time. Newegg says it was never up there in the first place.
gay :(

Glad to hear some of you have had similar results. I will certainly be buying EVGA products in the future.

Companies almost never handle their own rebates, they're basically always outsourced to random cruddy fulfullment houses.

Dude, you do realize you're complaining about something they did out of the mercy of their own collective heart? ;)

Yeah, I know, and I'm still great full for it. But I imagine it would have happened whether I was covered by the warranty or not.

yeah, they are good. I've called their support line a few times with very technical questions about bios compatibility and some faulty resistor questions as well and they actually made sure to give me a firm accurate answer whenever i've called. Too bad they changed their step-up program not to include the new AC3 cards, but oh well, can't get everything, i'll buy from them again, but hopefully I won't have to anytime soon
